"How much is worth this particular sailboat?"

What can We answer to this?

It's true, We see a lot of sailboat come and go. It's also true that We don't know how much they are sold, nor the condition at the sale or the equipment's list. Contrary to the real-estate, most transaction is not officially recorded. Thus, it's very difficult to assert the exact market value.

Putting aside scientific studies on economics, We can generalize that the market value of a particular sailboat is determined by the money that a potential buyer is willing to spend to acquire it. We have built a little questionnaire that allows us to figure out that most wanted market value.
