Rent a sailboat or catamaran and follow the Flag ship. You benefit from the experience of the flotilla leader while assuming the command of your own boat with your own crew.

Itinerary: 7 days from St-Vincent & the Grenadines

Day 1: boarding at Blue Lagoon Marina starts at (5PM)

Day 2: After breakfast, we depart for the Bath’s Cave. We’ll swim on the reef nearby and into the cave. After lunch we'll depart for Bequia and stay for the night.

Day3: Site seeing in Bequia, relax on the beach, cocktail onboard, savor the local flavour wiath a diner at restaurant (optional).

Day 4: After breakfast, we'll sail to the beautiful Tobago Cays, there you can swim with the turtle or snorkel on the beautiful and preserved reef. Don’t miss Petit Tabac, where “Jack Sparrow” was abandoned with that gorgeous chick...

Diner option: lobster & fish dinner on the island prepared by the locals or we cook something ourself. 

Note: there is a park tax of $10EC per day per person.

Day 5: Mopion, the smalest island in the world with a permanent structure & Petite St-Vincent, a very beautifull private resort. Sun bath on the island or snorkel on the reef.

Day 6: Union island visit, cocktail at happy island, dinner at local restaurant (optional).

Cabin Layout

 

This boat has 4 double cabins with private electric head & shower. All cabins can be transformed.

Both stern cabins (1 & 2) are double bed cabins that can be converted into single beds like on the drawing above.

Both aft cabins can be converted into a huge double cabin with queen size bed as per the drawing bellow.

For these charters, we limit to 6 passengers + skipper and cook.

The front space is a storage area only and does not have a bed in it. It can be used to store excess luggage, snorkeling equipment, sails, etc.

Onboard equipment

 

Kitchen: French presse, expresso & filter, micro-wave oven, gaz cooker and oven, kitchen hood, freezer, fridge and cooler (10 cubic feet total), toaster, blender, coocking hardware & dishes, BBQ etc.

Electricity: 12V CC et 110 VCA @ 60Hz (American/Canadian socket), Solar Panel (420W) and Wind Generator.

Comfort: AC (dock side only), Fan, electric head, shower,& electric socket in each cabin. Deck shower, swim ladder cockpit cushion, bimini & dodger.

Fun stuff: High sea fishing rod, norkling equipment, dinghy for 8 PAX with 15hp outboard, fishing equipement.

Security equipment: lift raft, safety jacket, harness, First aid kit, flares etc.  

Optional: Paddle board, kayak and Scuba diving equipement is available for rental at the marina. The skipper has 30 years experience as a diver and can guide you during the trip.

Food

All breakfast are taking aboard

Lunch can be taken aboard or ashore depending of the itinerary.

Most diners will be prepared by the hostess/cook but do count a few restaurent along the trip.

A contribution to the cash box will be requested that will be used to pay for food and beverage, wine, navigation taxes, and various boat expense such as uel, water first and last night to the dock. Add $ 25 (usd) / person / day.

Crew

Skipper: Yves JULIEN is bilingual (French and English) and has more than 40 years of nautical experience including 25 years as a professional. He is the founder of Affordable Yachting and the chief organizer of numerous flotillas in the West Indies and the Mediterranean. He is also the author of the TV series "Partons la Mer est Belle" which was broadcast on a travel channel in Canada "Canal Évasion". He is also an experienced diver that can help you scuba dive during your vacation.

Hostess : The hostess/cook is also blingual (French & English). She will propose European style dishes as well as local. She can also cook vegetarian if need be.

Clients/crews: are invited to actively participate to all manoeuver. It's a big boat and the Skipper will appreciate all the help he can get. The Skipper use to teach sailing too, so you're welcome to take this opportunity to become a better sailor.

Cost per cabin

$1250 USD/person double occupancy ($ 2500 per cabin).

Single person are accepted at an additional cost of 25% if they agree to share a cabin aft or 50% if they want the exclusivity of a double cabin.
It is possible to rent the boat in exclusivity for the sum of $6000 USD/week (which include Skipper + cook).
It is also possible to rent exclusivity for more than 7 days (pro-rata of the cost per week).

+ 25% for Christmas or New Year's Eve week..

Travel costs to be expected
A $ 155 USD (± 400 $EC) contribution to the cash box will demanded upon arrival
It's use to cover the purchase of food, beverages, rum, local navigation taxes, first and last night at dock, fuel and water.

Restaurents are extra. Wine and beer can be purchased at marina store.

Dates

The cabin & flotilla program begins at the end of November until spring time (depending on demand).
Cabin charter is guaranteed to depart with a minimum of 2 persons.
Any other date during the year could be consider when renting the Flag Ship exclusively.

From Canada: Air Canada offers direct flights to St-Vincent from Toronto on Wenesday and Sunday. It is also easy to get to St. Vincent from Barbados or Trinidad pretty much every day of the week.
